Features
Find it fast. Paste it right.
Everything you copy is kept and searchable, and any of it is a key away.
Search that forgives.
Type a few letters, typos and all, or a word like “yesterday”, and the copy you meant comes to the top. Pills narrow it to links, images, colors or code.
Return pastes it.
Return pastes into the app you were in, ⇧Return as plain text, and ⌘1 to ⌘9 paste your latest nine straight away.
Change it with ⌘K.
UPPERCASE or Title Case, trimmed or sorted, JSON formatted, a link without its tracking, a color as OKLCH. You see the result before you paste it.
Several in a row.
Pick a few copies and each ⌘V pastes the next, or paste them all at once, joined by new lines, commas or spaces.
Pins, shared with ZincWolf Island.
Pin what you paste often. A pin made in ZincWolf Clipboard is in ZincWolf Island’s clipboard too, and the other way round, on your Mac only.
Pinboards.
Keep copies together in boards of your own, like Work, Addresses or Code, each with its color and symbol.
Drag it out.
Drag any copy from the panel or the library straight into another app: text with its formatting, links, files and images.
A library, not a menu.
Its main window holds every copy, your pinboards and every setting, so there’s no menu bar icon in your way.
Previews
See it before you paste it.
Beside the list, a big preview shows each copy as it will paste, drawn on your Mac, with nothing fetched from the web.

Privacy
Your clipboard stays on your Mac.
Encrypted, never uploaded.
Your history is encrypted on your Mac, with its key in your keychain. ZincWolf Clipboard has no network features at all: no link previews, no icons from the web, no analytics.
Passwords skipped.
What password managers mark as private is never read, and the common ones, Keychain Access and Passwords are left out from the start. Add any app you like.
Codes forgotten.
Card numbers, keys, tokens and one-time codes are blurred until you choose Show, and forgotten after 10 minutes.
Your Mac’s own switch.
On macOS 15.4 and later, ZincWolf Clipboard reads what other apps copy only once you allow it under Privacy & Security, Paste from Other Apps, and you can turn that off there any time.
Pause it for an hour or until tomorrow, clear the last hour, today or everything, or delete all of ZincWolf Clipboard’s data, any time.

A clipboard history for your Mac that opens like Spotlight. Double-tap ⌘ and a glass search bar appears in the middle of the screen, with everything you’ve copied under it and a big preview beside it. Pick a copy and press Return, and it’s pasted into the app you were in.
Yes, it’s available now: $19.99, once. Buy it here and download it straight away; your license key comes on screen and by email. Already bought it? Download ZincWolf Clipboard from this page any time.
$19.99, once, the same as every ZincWolf app. Every 1.x update is free, there’s no subscription and no account, and a license is for one Mac. It’s sold directly from zincwolf.app, with a full refund within 14 days if it isn’t for you.
Double-tap ⌘: two quick taps of the Command key, with nothing else pressed. ⌃⌘V opens it too, even before you’ve allowed Accessibility. In Settings you can double-tap ⌥, ⌃ or ⇧ instead, or choose another shortcut.
Text and rich text, links, images and screenshots, files and folders, colors and code, each with the app it came from and when. Copy the same thing again and it moves to the top instead of being kept twice. It keeps a month of copies, up to 1,000, to start with; you can choose anything from a day to forever.
The list filters as you type, across the text, link titles, file names and app names. It forgives typos and understands words like “today”, “yesterday” and “last week”. Pills narrow it to text, links, images, files, colors or code.
Change a copy before you paste it: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case or Sentence case, trim spaces or line breaks, sort lines or remove duplicates, straighten quotes, URL or Base64 encode and decode, format or minify JSON, strip tracking from a link, turn a color into HEX, RGB, HSL or OKLCH, or Markdown into plain text. You see the result first: Return pastes it, ⌘Return keeps it as a new copy.
Yes. ⌘-click a few copies, or pick them with ⇧↓, and Return pastes the first; then each ⌘V in any app pastes the next. Or paste them all at once, joined by new lines, commas or spaces.
Yes. ZincWolf Clipboard’s pins are ZincWolf Island’s clipboard pins, kept on your Mac: pin something in either app and it’s in both. Each app works fully on its own.
Yes. Your history stays on your Mac, encrypted, with its key in your keychain. ZincWolf Clipboard has no network features at all: it fetches no link previews or icons and uploads nothing. It only goes online to check its license and look for updates.
No. Password managers mark what they copy as private, and ZincWolf Clipboard never reads it; the common password managers, Keychain Access and Passwords are also left out from the start. Card numbers, keys, tokens and one-time codes it spots are blurred and forgotten after 10 minutes.
They can. ZincWolf Clipboard asks macOS to leave its panel and main window out of screen captures, and apps that capture the screen the older way do, but on macOS 15 and later most screen sharing, video calls and recordings show them anyway. Close ZincWolf Clipboard’s panel and window before you share your screen.
From macOS 15.4, macOS asks before an app reads what you copied in another app. So ZincWolf Clipboard can keep your copies without asking each time, open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Paste from Other Apps and set ZincWolf Clipboard to Allow. The welcome takes you there.
Clear the last hour, today or everything in Settings › History, or forget one copy with ⌘⌫. Pause keeps nothing for an hour, until tomorrow or until you resume. Settings › Privacy › Delete all data removes the whole history and its key at once. Pins and pinboards stay until you remove them.
Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, with Apple silicon or Intel. On macOS 26 Tahoe its panel is made of Liquid Glass; on Sonoma and Sequoia it’s frosted.
Pasting into other apps and noticing a double tap of ⌘ need access to macOS that the Mac App Store doesn’t allow, so ZincWolf sells it directly, as it does all its apps.
Copy anything. Find it in a double tap.
Everything you copy, kept on your Mac, one double tap of ⌘ away. Available now, for $19.99 once.
